Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Application Consultant with strong experience in retail technology, business process consulting and software implementation.
The role will work closely with retail clients and internal product, technical and project teams to understand business requirements, translate them into effective technology solutions, coordinate implementation activities and support successful deployment.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of retail operations, POS, inventory management and enterprise systems, along with hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, SIT/UAT, training and Go-Live activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Analyze and map retail business processes across store operations, inventory, merchandising, supply chain and e-commerce.
- Work on implementation and delivery of ETP's retail technology solutions.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including: Requirement gathering, Business process mapping, Functional configuration, Data migration and validation, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), User training, Go-Live and post-Go-Live support
- Work closely with technical teams on system architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows and middleware.
- Identify project risks, dependencies and issues and work proactively towards resolution.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, functional specifications and implementation-related reports.
- Support retail system integrations involving POS, ERP, OMS, WMS, e-commerce and other enterprise platforms.
- Lead client discussions, presentations, workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Support production deployments, cutovers and other critical implementation activities when required.

Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in software implementation, solution consulting, business analysis, or enterprise application deployment.
- Strong understanding of retail technology, commerce platforms, POS systems, CRM, Order Management Systems (OMS), and product management processes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, SIT/UAT, data migration, user training and Go-Live.
- Good understanding of system integrations, APIs and data flows.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
