Job Profile

  • Must have handled a team of 4+ members as their direct reporting.
  • Responsible for managing the team, their work allocation, utilization, and outcome.
  • Responsible for adherence to the development methodologies and processes.
  • Should be proficient in working with technologies like: CORE Java, J2EE, SQL2012, XSLT, XML, EJB2.0, Web Services, JSP, Swing.
  • Should be able to write and, if required, optimize complex SQL queries. Hands-on exposure to SQL is a must.
  • Must have developed Web Services and Stored Procedures.
  • Must have worked on Client/Server or Desktop-based applications using Web Services/AWT or other tools.
  • Documentation (Technical specifications/Customer Manual/HLD/LLD/Interface documents, etc.) as per policy.
  • Review completed tasks to ascertain compliance with standards.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee day-to-day work allocation of all team members and provide necessary advice and guidance.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Coach all team members and motivate them to produce desired results.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching, organize training for the team members on new techniques and methods.
  • Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry.
  • Perform regular audits to discover areas of weakness and fortify them.
  • Responsible for the quality of development and delivery.
  • Plan Sprint reviews with End Customers for the developed solution.
  • Provide inputs to managers for forecasting and planning of the work for team utilization.
  • Ensure timely completion of development activity.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Suggest and organize team-building activities.
  • Have a valid passport.
