Job Description:
You will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s talent development strategies. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and career development. The person needs to work closely with the HODs to ensure that training initiatives align with the organisation’s goals and employee needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and updating of comprehensive training programs that address specific skill gaps and support organizational objectives.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops using various instructional techniques to ensure effective delivery and participant engagement.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of training events, including scheduling, communication, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage the LMS, including user administration, content uploading, and system maintenance.
- Monitor and report on learner progress and program effectiveness using LMS analytics.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for users navigating the LMS.
- Provide coaching and support to employees in their career development and growth within the organization.
- Conduct one-on-one or small group sessions to address specific development needs or career aspirations.
- Assist in the identification of high-potential employees and the development of individualized growth plans.
- Partner with HR and department leaders to identify training needs and align L&D initiatives with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote L&D activities and garner support for training programs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to source and manage training resources.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of training programs on employee performance and organizational goals.
- Prepare regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations for senior management.
- Analyse feedback and data to continuously improve the quality and relevance of training initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Explore and implement innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/ Business Administration or MBA in HR/a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related area. Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs. Experience with LMS administration and e-learning development is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in using learning management systems and related software. Strong organizational and project management abilities.
